Getaways...

I know that all of us at some point or another wish we could just get away... Now i probably wish this more than anyone because i am a traveler... love everything about it and experiencing new things... i think its just the initial thrill of it all. So while at work i am thinking of where i can go during break or lunch time to take pictures so i can keep my mind active & interested (not that its that hard when it comes to photography) but i must say it does keep my mind of the BORINGNESS that is my job... lol

Anyways these photos are all taken in the back corner of my parking lot at work.... just chilled out back there ate my lunch & photographed... Ah if only i could do this for a living! lol

My main getaway since ACTUALLY traveling would cost a fortune is photography. I transcend to another place where it is more peaceful, beautiful, & a lot less complicated.
Who wouldnt want that right?

Let me know of a place that you like to get away to... whether its ACTUALLY traveling because you are one of the few that actually has money left over... or if its just a state of mind to get you out of the day to day junk that is called LIFE!

Apparently....

So apparently i decided that today was CLOUD day! lol. At least for post of the day it tends to be because ALL of the photos i chose have wonderful looking clouds in them! Which as i have stated before i am a fan of! lol Who doesn't love a BLUE BLUE sky with white FLUFFY clouds?

I had seen this "tree"... not quite sure what kind it is but found it rather odd/interesting... so OF COURSE i had to take a photo!
Above is probably one of my favorite as it was taken from my drivers side vehicle (i was parked, for all you safety sally's out there!) But my window was open & you can see the difference between looking through the windsheild & just looking straight up at the clouds! I thought it was cool... lol
Ah now wait a minuite! This is like one of those AH HA moments.... or i guess its more of a promotion/advertisement for Mazda! I dearly love my car/steering wheel... So why not take a photo of it! lol So here is my day in a nut shell... woke up, went to chiro(always wears me out), scurried on over to work(traffic was a mess, damn construction!) & headed home for some much needed relaxion (TV{Last Comic Standing & So You Think You Can Dance time})

Dole what?

Ok so we had this at the end of our visit to the Dole Plantation but I LOVE it SO much! Delicious Pineapple ice cream! YUM!

This time we took the train tour around the plantation & it was VERY neat & GORGEOUS!

Here i thought this photo would be better in black & white... & must say i am a BIG fan of B/W photos.

I just thought this was a neat shot especially with the mountains in the background!

There is something about red dirt, blue skies, & green grass that gets me!!!

Amazingness...

So if you haven't noticed by now i love to add ~ness to pretty much EVERY adjective that i use... lol. Its almost like a signature...

Below i have placed a photo of which i took while taking the puppies for a walk! I thought it was rather neat!

I love, love, love things that dont really fit... and well below is a silo & i have to admit it reminds me of country & i LOVE the country... I think there is SO much out there and we just need to get out there and photograph it all! lol

Now... went to the drive-in with my sister & a friend... and well i must say that she had an KICK A** sunroof! It basically covered the entire roof of the car... so OF course had to take a photo of the clouds through it! Anyways... i will be posting my Drive-IN photos next! Had a blast!

OMG!!

Ok seriously guys... i am sorry... i have totally ALREADY been in vacation mode and i STILL have a week & a half! lol.... So anyways here are a few i had taken today...

Below is a plant that a few weeks ago didnt seem like it would make it AT all but here it is green as can be! Got to love nature!

I would like to say that i might have a slight obssession with clouds... there is something about them that totally puts a smile on my face & makes the world a better place (sorry... the song totally popped into my head, lol)
SUNROOF pic!! lol So i have a sunroof in my vehicle and i always like the view when i look up and saw the clouds were EXTRA close this afternoon. So of course i whipped out my camera and to a sweet pic!
So thank you for all sticking with me along this journey even though i have been slacking a bit!

Rather relaxing Monday....

Today was a rather exciting day... nothing too exciting happened in regards to work but my first client is spreading the word about my pictures around the office and may have a few more possible clients out of it!! Other than that a rather boring day...

I liked the way the clouds looked like cotton balls spread apart! And the colors of the sky...

Below is a shot from the current apartment pool... rather luxurious when there are no children but believe me around 2-? you will no longer want to lay by the pool! I can't wait until i can take pics of the NEW apartments lazy river pool! Pretty effin sweet!!
Anyways below i bought some DVD/cases for my first client & future clients to come... and found that it was rather easy to upload them to the DVD's themselves... Can't wait to do it again!!
