Long Overdue....

So i have felt REALLY bad for not being around lately & want to apologize to each and everyone of you because it isn't fair to you! So i will tell you about my week last week which was definitely eventful...

Started the week working overtime on Monday for a few hours which wasn't bad at all it went rather smoothly & we got food! lol. Then came home & took a dip in the pool as it was EVER so lovely of a day!

Then Tuesday came a long & started the day off normal but during lunch i went to sit out in my car, misjudged the curb & totally biffed it landing on my knees and scrapping the crap out of them as well as my right foot. Below you can see a somewhat blury verson of that as seeing the real thing is somewhat gross! lol & this was just taken today... so its not NEAR as bas as it was!

Then thursday i woke up with a MASSIVE headache... i took some ibuprofen & sinus meds went to work and lasted about 45 min before i realized it wasn't going anywhere and went home & locked myself in my dark room & slept for 5 hours. Ah, got to love migranes, right? lol... It wiped me out SO much that i ended up taking friday off too...

So that was my FUN-filled week! Hope you all had a FANTASTIC fourth of July & that your week was 10 times better than mine was! & i am really sorry for not being around! I am even going to post a few from the 4th! So look out! lol

Bookshop Madness...

So this evening went to Blue Willow Bookshop with a few buddies from the blogger world! Jen, Kristin, & I embarked on a journey with Tera Lynn Childs author of Forgive my Fins; Story about a mermaid princess who wants to see what human life is like, as her mother was/is human. Once on land she ends up having a crush on a human but the catch is that mermaids don't do casual dating, once they "bond" with someone its for life but she finds herself constantly annoyed by her obnoxious biker boy neighbor Quince getting in the way of her romance with Brody.

And here are some flowers her parents sent her and a made-up thrown to kind of go along with the book!

She was giving us a hint on how she comes up or solidifies her characters... thought it was a pretty neat idea! Who doesn't LOVE making collages??

Always a rather fun experience! And we think we may have seen another published author but still unsure! Haven't read the book yet but once my sister gets done with hers I am definitely going to check it out & her upcoming books sound rather exciting as well! So if you are into mythology & what not be sure to check her out!

An artistic adventure...

So this weekend i went to the AIA Sancastle Competition 2010 in Galveston & i must say that i was rather impressed with how HOT it was & still how many people managed to make it out!

Above is a photo looking out into Galveston Bay past the lifeguard stand & below KITES! Yes i felt like a little kid again when i saw these & really wanted to fly one! So next time i go to the beach i will definitely make sure to get one!

And now the sand Sculptures! I must admit i do wish we stayed a bit longer so i could have gotten the finished projects for a lot of them but you still get the amount of skill & creativity that went into each one!

This one i think is REALLY creative and probably one of my favorites from the day but its called "it came from the manhole". Definitely cool!

And this one definitely CRACKED me up! ((Shake weight)) Who doesn't enjoy this?

So throughout the day it just got hotter & hotter and these people were still working their little hearts out! Thanks to them for sharing their ideas & letting us enjoy their creation!

Stranded at the Drive-In...

So like i stated in previous post... We went to the drive-in last night...

These were SO adorable! I think they are all friends and were having a night out at the drive-in and then home for a sleepover! They had on the CUTEST dresses!

I dont know why but i find some of what they have listed rather hilarious! But hey they do have mention it so they dont get sued!

Lets just say it was a rather FUN evening and i LOVE the drive-in!! lol

Amazingness...

So if you haven't noticed by now i love to add ~ness to pretty much EVERY adjective that i use... lol. Its almost like a signature...

Below i have placed a photo of which i took while taking the puppies for a walk! I thought it was rather neat!

I love, love, love things that dont really fit... and well below is a silo & i have to admit it reminds me of country & i LOVE the country... I think there is SO much out there and we just need to get out there and photograph it all! lol

Now... went to the drive-in with my sister & a friend... and well i must say that she had an KICK A** sunroof! It basically covered the entire roof of the car... so OF course had to take a photo of the clouds through it! Anyways... i will be posting my Drive-IN photos next! Had a blast!

One step closer...

So this morning... well lets start out with last evening... i had to restore my phone because it has been a pain in the butt and for some reason wont recognize my touch... it is very frustrating. Anyways i had to reset my alarm & well... ended up setting it for 5:45 PM... not realizing it and now i have to be to work by 8... and i ended up waking up at 7:20... in a frantic mess i dressed, kenneled the pups & flew through the door..... but totally made it with 10 minutes to spare!

Now i am chilling in front of the tube eating pizza & watching the movie below & must say that it has been a rather enjoyable movie so far!

Must say that i would totally LOVE to visit Greece... GORGEOUS!!

So as most of you know i had my first photo job yesterday! Overall i think it went rather smoothly! Below is one of the shots that Aryana just wasn't feeling it anymore! I still thought it was rather cute!

Sorry boys... This may not be as AMAZING for you as it is for the LADIES!!! Ok so i have seen this around on a few blogs and thought that i would join in on the fun... who doesnt enjoy making their own PERFECT boyfriend?!?

1~ Hair color & Style: I dont really have a specific style but i do like a strong jaw bone and usually what helps kick that off is a short hairdo but long enough style.... Mmmmhmmmm...

2~Eye color & facial features: Like i mentioned above i am a sucker for a strong jawline... but hey i am not THAT picky... As far as the eyes go... this is probably one of my FAVORITE features on a guy... i would say that my favorite eye color is one that is combined; usually green, brown, gray, blue... ooo yum! lol Or for a solid probably Green (if you haven't noticed, my favorite color!) but then again i am not too picky... whatever fits!

3~ Height & body type: Anyone that is taller than me... i am 5'8 1/2.... lol. and i noticed that going through this i tended to go for the skinny with a bit of definition... oh yea sexy boys! lol

4~ Visible Age: 20-30ish... How ever i dont discriminate... there are PLENTY of sexy older men...(note: used the word men, lol)

5~ Human or other~ Human DEFINITELY but who doesn't love a guy with special powers?!?

6~Paranormal Skills: I definitely love to travel so if we could just transport with just a thought... Heck yes Gorgeous beaches, Paris, Ireland HERE I COME!!!!

7~Interests: Definitely love to be photographed or at least love to look at them! lol Beach, traveling, anything to have fun!!

8~ Habitat: Earth, if we have to be more specific i would probably say Irealand... or at least have an irish accent because MAN that is SEXAAYY! lol.

9~ Special Skills: Looking handsome without any work & growing old while still looking SEXY! Which most of these men already DO! Mmmmmhmmmmm....

10~ Last but certainly not least.... who doesn't love a nerdy hunk & one VERY sexy man?!? And together in one pic... awwww... Criminal Minds Spencer Reid (Matthew Gubler) & Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore).

Ah well i must say this was quite an enjoyable experience and that it was hard NOT to stop and drool all over my keyboard!! So i am hoping that you guys enjoyed it as much as i enjoyed putting it together! I will be posting NORMAL pics tomorrow!! IF you would like to do this i certainly encorage it...
