What a day?!

Went to Kemah Boardwalk today & had a rather exciting time! Here my family is taking advantage of a photo opportunity after going on the Boardwalk Bullet!

And when i took photos yesterday after work saw some great flowers @ my sisters place!

And my new cowboy hat!! I was so excited to find this one & then the chair sitting on the porch waiting for the store attendants to get my sister a box for her purchase! I must say that i really LOVE it! lol. Pretty much my favorite photo of the day!
Soon i will be posting photos of the photoshoot with my sister! We had a blast & i have SEVERAL to choose from but will only be able to choose a few! And will also post more of my day with the fam @ Kemah... Great times with great people! & i am going to see Inception tonight with my cousin! I have been told great things but not holding out too much hope!

Thursday Movie Night!

Ok today's post is unfortunately rather plain... well you should just be happy that i am posting because i almost decided not to but thought i would give a review of the movie which my friend Carey & i so graciously went & watched this evening!

I must say that Katherine Heigl is probably one of my new FAVORITE actresses! She is so adorable, funny, & quirky! And Ashton is not too bad to look at either, lol! Its good to finally see him in something again... anyways i thought that it was definitely better than i expected it to be. I expected it to be cute funny but it actually had a bit of action, comedy, drama, & romance! lol. Loved it... so if you get a chance to go and see it definitely let me know what you think!

Just a note i am also going to have to make a trip back out to Town & Country Mall (center, w/e they call it) because i didn't realize how MUCH cooler it has been since they have been remolding! Some good photographing opportunities but headed to another Chiro appt & books signing with my sister tomorrow! Many photos to come!

One step closer...

So this morning... well lets start out with last evening... i had to restore my phone because it has been a pain in the butt and for some reason wont recognize my touch... it is very frustrating. Anyways i had to reset my alarm & well... ended up setting it for 5:45 PM... not realizing it and now i have to be to work by 8... and i ended up waking up at 7:20... in a frantic mess i dressed, kenneled the pups & flew through the door..... but totally made it with 10 minutes to spare!

Now i am chilling in front of the tube eating pizza & watching the movie below & must say that it has been a rather enjoyable movie so far!

Must say that i would totally LOVE to visit Greece... GORGEOUS!!

To my surprise...

Tonight went out to dinner with my mom & sister at a wonderful Mexican restaurant by the name of Los Cucos... Here are a few photos from outside, see if you spot anything unusual....

And then we venture outside after stuffing our face with deliciousness! We see this... in all our confusion as we were trying to remember it had actually been there before we went in... we decided to take a few snapshots. Below my sister posing with the helicopter behind a strip center... Ah Houston you never seem to fail me with what you come up with next!

And again graffiti (something that i DO NOT approve of) but yet there is some sort of art to their creation! Anyways ended the night with going back to my sisters place watching The Stepfather (suspense) & An Accidental Husband

Wonderland...

So i had the pleasure of going to see Alice in Wonderland last night. I had been seeing previews on tv for it and been hearing good things up until i posted something of Facebook... but i am not one to take other people's opinions into mind because everyone is different. I personally am the kind of person who goes into any movie with NO expectations as it helps me get a clear perspective on it. Tim Burton is an aboslute genius! It wasn't as dark as most of his films but it was uterally MAD, lol. The colors, atmosphere, & characters were brilliantly played. All i have to say is go into it with no expectations and i believe you will LOVE it!!

Truthfully Thursday....

So thanks to Jen i have decided to take this and run with it.... Apparently i am supposed to say a few truths about myself. I decided that i would share a few photos as well!

~I love SHOES! maybe quite obssessive or the typical girl... One of my weaknesses!!

~ I am a movie junkie... I have almost 300 movies which most are located in the CD case that holds 300 & some odd movies that is also alphabatized....

~I used to play piano when i was in middle school & got 2 awards but quit because i didnt want to practice...

~I love the color green!

A fairytale love letter.....

So went to see Dear John, tonight with my sister and all i have to say is OMG!!! If you think you can hold back your tears on this one please see it because oh boy! I was holding back because i didnt want to be the "one crazy lady" who balled her eyes out and i still freaking balled like a baby but overall it was one of the best movies i have seen lately! And a shout out to Channing Tatum (he is SUPER hot) as he totally proved to me that he could hold his own as an actor! What a good night... headed to bed as going to give blood & girls movie night tomorrow! YAY!
