Pleasure...

I find the simpliest things in life give me pleasure.... I love taking photographs of living things whether they are people, insects, or plants.... There is SO much beauty in this photo below not only with the flower but if you look closely in the upper left hand corner on the flower... there is one of the probably coolest looking spiders i have ever seen! He has a green torso & yellow legs with yellow & red spots... pretty freaking neat if you ask me!

Then here we have a simple railroad crossing sign... its been damaged from only God knows what but it is still standing... Just reminds me that you can go through life damaged but you are going to still be standing in the end. Nothing you are ever given is TOO much for you that at the end of the day you wont be standing.

Now you ask where all this seriousness comes from & well i must say it comes from Elizabeth Gilbert's book Eat, Pray, Love. Its a terrific tale of her journies in life where she was figuring out who she really is & MAN OH MAN!!! I must say that i was thinking about reading it before i ever knew it was being made into a movie & now i am trying to hurry up & read it so that i can go & see it (which will be the first EVER book that i have read before the movie has come out, or that i have seen it)
Now her story, however opposite it might be definitely gives you things too look at in your own life & helps you realize things about yourself that really i never would have looked at before. And right now i am in the "Pray, India" Chapter (hence the reason Pray is in focus) and it is by far my favorite because it has just helped me to relax again & take a step back & enjoy the here & now moments & stop focusing on what i want my future to look like. So sorry for all the seriousness but really felt the need to post this! & i must say that if you haven't checked out Eat, Pray, Love yet, you totally need to & not just because its being made into a movie but because it will change your life! And well if you dont like change then i dont recommend the book... lol.

Now its OFFICIAL!!

So it is totally official now!

I received my business cards in the mail today!! & let me just say that i am thoroughly excited and I well have already passed out over 2/3rds of them! Can you tell i am excited?? lol

OK so sorry for today but i was SOO excited about them that really that is all i have to post today... and it is raining outside right now & i am exhausted... but good news i got my business cards & have 2 jobs lined up and possibly 4 more after that mainly from my business cards!! HOW AWESOME IS THAT? lol... ok so again i am sorry for today not being much but i was rather excited! And would like to say THANK YOU to all of my followers because you have made the jump possibly and definitely WORTH it all! You are greatly appreciated!

How to make packing fun!

Ok... So these pictures aren't as exciting as i thought they would turn out or i wanted them too... but here they are none the less.... So as i mentioned before... i am in the process of moving out of these crap apts becaue they haven't been so nice... Now i am not actually moving until the beginning of May but the last week in april i am going to be in Hawaii (visiting my sister, YAY!) and the week i get back that weekend i am moving... so hence starting early so i dont have a whole lot to do when i get back!

So i make packing fun by taking pictures while doing it... as well as BLASTING (well as loud as i feel comfortable in the apt) music as it makes me work A LOT faster...

So here are another photo of boxes... UGH! lol

I promise to have better pictures this tomorrow because i am going to a friends wedding tonight!!!! I AM SO EXCITED! lol.. i am trying to break my way into the world of professional photography... so i asked my friend (i knew she already had a photographer) if it was ok if i took a few photos because i am trying to do so just to start my portfolio and see how much i actually like it! And she was EXCITED to have MORE photos of the joyous day... I also booked my first family shoot (one of my friends from work) next weekend as well as her childs birthday party... So most likely i will be starting another blog but will still update this one with my LIFE photos and then the other one things such as this...and i am very anxious but really excited because i really ENJOY taking photos to help other people remember these important moments in their lives... So just to give you a heads up! Tell me what you think about this!
