Crazies anyone?!

So this week i have NO idea, maybe its because the full moon is coming, or people just want to be crazy but i am kind of tired of peoples nasty attitudes as well as the CRAZY convo's i have @ work. Today, i rec'd a call from an Insd and he was talking about crazy things, such as, bank fraud, vehicular homicide (which he called his accident but no fatalities involved), canadian border patrol, & a few other things but i honestly couldnt remember after the 3 min venting session i was so CONFUSED not quite sure what to do.

Above is another photo from Kemah but INSIDE Joes Crabshack! Below saw this tree which was basically stripped wet lines on the trunk & branches... almost as if the water was draining from the top of the tree!
I just thought the tree was a gorgeous twisting piece of nature!

Here is what happens when you walk outside & the camera lense FOGS! i thought it was neat effect....

Well after a rather exhausting day ended it with chilling on the couch watching Big Brother as well as my adorable nieces new video my sister posted! Hope you are all having a better week & aren't having to deal with the torrential downpour!!

Friday tomorrow, YAY!!

Rain, Rain, Here to Stay...

Ok so most of you know how much i LOVE LOVE LOVE the rain & thunderstorms! Well today it had been rather gloomy & the clouds have been rather FANTASTIC lately! And yesterday i attempted to take a walk with my camera and i must say i was disappointed in myself as it stopped working because i FORGOT to change the battery... Yes i was rather upset with myself. Anyways... so tonight i was all ready battery charged, umbrella in hand(in case it started pouring, which it did), & off i ventured into the neighborhood... I loved the layers upon layers of clouds! All different colors & sizes... FUN!

And below near my house there is an area over grown woods its a VERY small part but had these very interesting looking flowers... so i thought i would share!

To me the clouds looked like a mountain or like they were covering a mountain & i found it very soothing...

And who doesn't love going for a walk with your camera just to have it POUR down rain!!!

I know that it may seem like sarcasm but i must say that i feel my calling might be as a storm photographer... lol... i love the danger & the natural beauty of it. Plus its challenging to me & I love myself a challenge. Anyways i just love this green with the white & the rain in the background... which i must say that i didnt even catch the rain until i uploaded the photo! So of course i was EVEN more pleased with this shot... Definitely my favorite of the bunch. So anyways hope you all enjoyed because i know i had a TERRIFIC walk even though i my pants were drenched by the time that i made it home!

A life worth living....

Now who doesn't wish at one time or another that life could simply get easier that someone just show you the way to your next destination or point out that hey guess what you AREN'T supposed to give up...

This photo made me think of just that like God was like hey... i am going to strategically place and make life a little more easier for someone...

Now i admit that is probably a little far fetched but hey a girl can dream right?

Wouldn't it be nice to dream of a place like this where you could look out each day & watch the waves peacefully (granted that one day when the waves are WAY beyond what you had imagined, almost scary) But if everyday were like this calm & peaceful would we enjoy life as much? I often ask myself this question as i think back on how my life has turned out... would i truly be as happy as i am right now if the so called "troubles" hadn't happened?

I think not... & side note: I LOVE THUNDERSTORMS!! Sorry it is thundering & lightening & i must say i will sleep GOOD tonight!

There are times when our lives are supposed to be calm so that we can catch our breath but i believe that sadness leads to joyfulness & Hey i am always up for a bit of joy & happiness to help heal my sorrows... Some call me an optomist which i guess in all reality i am but WHY wouldn't i want to be?!?!

Why would i want to always think negatively when it is taking me away from the one true thing i believe in... I am a positive person & i look for the best in ALL scenarios because i can't see wasting my life being frightend, angry, upset, etc when i can turn it around and be joyful, happy, exuberant! So maybe that was a bit much but really come on! lol

Whenever i get in a negative mood i catch myself & ask myself WHY OH WHY are you in this mood? why do you hate people today what is so different about today then yesterday & check myself tell myself that i am going to LOVE people today & usually it works on a RARE occasion i stay in the mood for the whole day but then get good rest & start a brand new day!

Who doesn't love being in a good mood?

Things of fascination...

Now most of you should know by now that i am VERY random & i bought this SUPER cute dress this weekend & this braided detail below went all the way around the chest area & crossed in back... i thought this was a neat take on it! i love the color as well!!

Below it had been raining & i love the way the water droplets can just stick to something! And thought this flower was perdy!



I took a photo of my foot... now its not the most attractive foot there is out there but i must admit i am a big fan of this photo!

So today embarked on a week long journey waiting it out until i go on vacation & i must say that it was a rather successful day! Felt more productive today then i did last week! lol.

An Exciting Weekend....

I am now officially an AUNT!! To baby Chloe Elizabeth Torres who was born 4/10 @ 9:16(hawaii time) 8lbs 10oz, 18 1/2 inches... I may be biast but i think she is a rather adorable baby!

I still have to wait 2 weeks until i actually get to see her but i do have pictures! And i am honestly a VERY happy Aunt Kim... lol
And yesterday we had some REALLY weird clouds in Houston and it barely rained below i took this photo with my Iphone and thought it was rather neat & it was a i wish i had my nikon with me but this will have to do! lolSo sorry for not posting the past few days but my mind has definitely been other places!

The rain is here to stay....

Now normally i wouldnt be too happy about it but i have been wanting to take pictures and actually "capture" the rain... & lately it has been REALLY nice outside. So I found out it was going to rain ALL day and as you can tell i was rather ecstatic about it because it gave me 10 times the amount of chances to actually get it!

Never knew...

I never knew that changing the blog would be so much work but i believe that i have come to love the process along with the finished project! While talking to my sister i have decided that i am going to start randomly taking or finding picutres of umbrellas & adding them to my blog because i have always had a fascination with rain storms & why not embrace it even more!

Plus i have also decided that however ridiculous it might seem i am going to take my camera with me pretty much every where so that i can take full advantage and wont be saying the phrase well wish i had my camera with me... now i will!
