Criminal activity after a VERY busy weekend.....

I would like to wish every mom out there a Happy mothers day to start things off... and then i would like to go into my FIASCO this weekend... Granted it really shouldnt have been that big of a deal but it was... lol. And the photos below have NOTHING to do with what i am about to tell you... they are a continuation of my Hawaii trip... So as everyone knew from previous posts i was moving this weekend... and well let me tell you it actually went a LOT smoother than i had anticipated... And i happened to get a number from a VERY cute moving guy w/o even having to ask for it... lol. Anyways... So after all was said & done we returned the Uhaul truck & were relaxing getting ready to take a dip in the new pool! I realized i couldn't find my phone ANYWHERE & come to think of it couldnt put the pieces together to figure out where the EXACT last place is that i had it... I spent 5 LOOOONNNNG hours without finding my phone. Luckily my sister is an extrovert and will do ANYTHING to get something back as i am one that will turn it all inward... not healthy i know but i have come to accept it lol. So anyways my sister called Uhaul and was like hey i am calling on behalf of my sister & after several grueling questions later finally got a teeny bit of info... mainly to say that we could check the truck if it was still unlocked(technically i would say this was illegal but hey thanks to my mom we are down for a little bit of adventure!) Anyways... front of the truck which i had checked previously and VERY thoroughly i might add... was locked but the back always stays unlocked and once i unlatched the back and pushed it up it all came FLUSHING back into my thoughts almost if i had a brief flashback before a truly tramatic experience... i had sweeped out the back of the uhaul & couldnt do it with my phone in my hands so the SMART one i am didnt have pockets so i laid it in this bag that they had hanging on the side of the truck and forgot about it... luckily it was still there and no one had rented the truck.... it was definitely not one of my prouder moments but once again i thank & love my family for pushing me to NEVER give up!
So sorry... i turned into a Chatty Kathy (sorry to any Kathy's who are offended by this) Below is a yellow painted line in Honolulu painted through the International Market Place. Very cool place to go for souvenirs... Granted the photo is a little out of focus but thought it was neat.
Ahhhh... PukaDog... Every year my Uncle says to me "you have to try the puka dogs, They are AWESOME!" So this year i took the plunge and actually tried one...
Below is how you order there are 3 steps... & i must admit it was rather easy...
Here is what it looked like... they first puncture the bun on a pointy stick & then wait for it to warm up so they can put step number 2 & 3 inside and then place the sausage inside....
Now i must admit my first bite was rather harsh... but i continued on thinking that it would get better but halfway through i got another taste of that Garlic Lemon sauce and i am NOT a fan.... i had to throw it away but please dont let this turn you away from trying something new because HEY you just might like it! Next time i eat one i will definitely be skipping step numero 2!
And just in case you were disgusted by the picture i took of the ACTUAL Puka Dog i have ended on a lighter not of a pretty sweet palm tree... i sometimes wonder how skinny trees like this one can still stand even though they are slanted quite a bit!
Once again Happy Mothers/Sun-day!!!
